I was liking what I saw till I looked at Seattle… kerfoot and Anderson for future considerations? Wtf is that? Also Coleman wants to play in the states from what I have heard. I would take goodrow and kerfoot over Coleman though.

Overpay on Coleman. And all your D are LHD so I think you should not pay Coleman so high and switch Hutton for a RHD

Good thing Muzzin and Hutton can play RHD. Also coleman is probably 4.5 x 4 so I don't think it is that much of an overpay. He is a better version of hyman and bertuzzi and they both will be getting similar contracts

The futures were to take Holl. Also idc if coleman wants to play in the states, these are hypotheticals. I rather slightly pay more for coleman than risk a higher overpay for Goodrow and keep kerfoot. It also looses you money for An elite goalie, Garland and depth pieces.

It certainly doesn’t. Goodrow should come in around 2m and kerfoot is 3.5m compared to 5m for Coleman and 900k for a replacement player you save money. You also have to keep in mind that Spezza doesn’t play centre, certainly won’t be in the 3rd line. From what I have heard kerfoot and Holl are the 2 primary targets for Seattle. The four options they are looking at are Dermott Holl Engvall and kerfoot. Leafs can afford to lose any one of those 4 players without any issue. Kerfoot will most likely be taken if is not protected.
