Good now you understand how much we valve Pelech. This conversion is just a waste of time. Isles aren't dealing Pelech and especially to Boston who both will be going for the cup next year. We are not in rebuilding mode. If anything, Boston should, you guys have an older squad with Bergeron, Marchand, Krejci, Rask all over 33 years old.

the isles are in cap hell and have no prospects to speak of what so ever. Also advanced stats don't tell the entire story Pelech benefits from playing with a top 15 d man in pulock while Mcavoy has had a aging chara,Jeremy Lauzon who had a bad start until he was paired with Miller and Matt grezlyk who is ok but not anywhere near pulocks level. Comparing Pelech and Mcavoy is insane and straight up disrespectful to Mcavoy.

In fairness to mcavoy, i kinda think management tried to sewer him by putting him on the second powerplay unit to avoid a fox situation that would really hurt in contract negotiations. The second the games mattered they put him on the powerplay for the playoffs, and I’m pretty sure he was over a point per game in the postseason.

I find the sight of a purported Bruins fan whining about Zdeno Chara being over the hill in his last year in Boston -- which, as I recall, was 2019-2020, not this past season -- in trying to make a point in an argument very depressing, even from across the country.

He was a top 10 D this season - in the last 3 seasons overall he’s in the 15-20 range.

again Isolated stats are better when you have a better D partner pucks will be in better spots etc. Pulock was better by quite a bit. And the isles really have 2 prospects in Wahlstrom and Dobson who will really amount to anything. Not saying boston has any prospects just saying your in cap hell and can't really improve the team much and dont really have much of an oppurtunity to improve from within.

Your first statement makes no sense, you’re talking out of your a**. Pelech had great numbers with everyone he played with, pulock was worse without pelech.

The isles are not in cap hell and the improvement will come from Dobson and Wahlstrom developing into elite players.

walstrom and dobson look like top 6 and top 4 players respectivly be honest. You are in cap hell. And have no real options of getting out of it without removing key players.
