Flames easily decline, Jets also decline but not a bad deal

Mangiapane might actually be the most untouchable player on the Flames rn, so pretty easy no here. Either throw in a young player with a high ceiling like Suzuki or we hang up fast.

Nah Mange is simply not available, decent offer though. Drouin makes it much less attractive however

Winnipeg doesn't need bottom pairing LD at all.

Agreed, I had Mangiapane at a 90 overall in my Flames franchise mode and he lead the team to a Stanley Cup, winning Conn Smythe

Not sure on Anderson's value, but I do know that Dallas can't afford his contract, with a lot of important guys to resign in the next few years, and the fact that we already have big contracts like Benn, Seguin and Lindell he doesn't seem to be a fit.

What am I'm missing with Mangiapane? I watched him almost everygame this year and I see nothing that would warrant this type of value. He is a decent player but a probable 3rd line center, a potetntial top pairing D, a middle 6 winger who is comparable in age and a first round pick! Wtf. This would have wasted 4 or the last 5 first round picks lol. And all you get is a middle 6 winger?

Elite? No he isn't. Unless your idea of elite is a second line winger. The comments about him on this thread are some of the most idiotic i've seen on this site.

He is more like a 1st line winger, with some of the best analytics in the league and was one of the best 5v5 goal scorers too. He has an exceptional 2-way game and plays with a lot of grit

He doesn't play center

Tatar, Danault and Gallagher have had some of the best analytics for the last three years. That does not make them a first line player that would warrant that package. You don't trade all your first round capital for a 50pt winger (at best). Thats horrendous asset management.

By all means keep your prospects, Flames will happily keep their breaking out elite winger

I mean he was tied with Barkov for 11th in 5v5 goals and ahead of Pastrnak, Point, Ovechkin, Huberdeau, Draisaitl, Guentzel, and many other big names. He is an analytic god with incredible work ethic and drive. And is being paid less than 2.5M

He gets paid 2.5 for one more year. Don't get me wrong he is a decent 2nd line winger but you don't pay that much for that. He is a very similar type of player that Gallagher is/was and Gallagher was never worth that much, even when he was scoring 30 goals a year. And he only score 5on5 and never got PP time.

I think you are missing the point, Mangiapane is simply not available for trade, if you dont want to offer the above that's fine but dont go underrating him like you originally did

Andrew Mangiapane is the hart and sole of the Flames right after Tkachuk, he's unavailable.

I was commentting on his value, and no way in hell is it worth that. You're overvauling him by a lot. Or maybe you're strictly stuck in your own flames bubble and don't realize the value of other teams players/prospects.

I hope you do realize that 99% of the people traded on this site is strictly a hypothetical right? Lol. You do realize we aren't the actual real GMs right? Lol.

I have a fairly good idea on prospects values, I don't know how I am overvaluing Mangipane at all here though. Care to explain?

It doesn't sound like you do. Mangipane is a second line winger, thats it. Second line wingers do not get this package. Mark Stone got a worse package than this lol..pay attention to other teams besides the Flames.

I'm still curious how on earth the Flames missed the playoffs with all this elite talent though
