Not sure if Carolina would gamble on Vlad and move out foegele or nino but either would be good forecheckers on Thomas' wing and if they go to the net they'll score plenty of goals. Not gonna replace the 2019 version of Tarasenko but may be the best the Blues are gonna be offered.

It's funny, I've seen lots of Dunn trades and I've noticed that people think he won't fetch the NYI or MTL 1st but then people say underpayment when they see DET 2nd. It's only 6-8 picks down the line, probably picking from the same tier of prospects. Getting 37oa and losing Dunn and Barbashev sucks but losing it nets a better value than doing nothing and watching Seattle take Dunn.

I feel like StL could definitely get another pick out of the Dunn deal for the wings, but I would be happy to get him for a 2nd. Wings could get center at 6 OA and maybe take Cossa with Washington's pick if he's still available.
