I would have Brooks at 4c and Most likely lilly in and Bogo signed over McCabe. He had a pretty severe knee injury. I love the player just not sure if I trust a one that banged up.

Not too sure about geekie at 3c either. I do like foegle though. It’s an interesting trade.

if you're trading holl, why protect dermott? kerfoot's the better and more important player, protect him in the 7-3-1 and give up dermott to seattle

I think this trade is fine, but it would have to happen after the expansion draft because Carolina can protect Foegele (and Geekie probably doesn't get picked) but they can't protect Holl

Leafs are going to need depth at D which is why keeping Dermott makes sense. As fantastic as Kerfoot's playoffs performance was, he is a player they can lose to Seattle and replace easier than add another D.
