Additional Details:
Before people say in the comments there's no way McDonagh is going to waive to Chicago. Why not? Chicago has a great offensive core and adding another star in Seth Jones to the B-line could persuade him . McDonagh is also moving closer to home, so that could also be a factor. Since Chicago is drastically improving there biggest need, they can become a playoff team. Also Tampa is going to lose a lot of pieces this off-season and there not going to be the same team.

First impression Not bad. Won’t happen, but I’d like to see it happen because hawks finally make some moves. I’m still hung up on Regula though. That’s a underrated defensive prospect I’d like to see the hawks hold onto. Jones Murphy and Regula in a year or two could be a very effective right side. Also Goodrow is a good pick up but I’m not a fan of Hinostroza. He’s hot but mostly cold on the stat sheet

Did you forget about Boqvist on the right side or do you not see him apart of the future. I think giving Hinostroza a 1 year deal won't be bad, I mean he played really good since the hawks acquired him and he did put up a 40 point season with Arizona, could be a great fit for the 3rd line for next season

For depth sake I guess hinostroza is ok. Just would rather see kurashev there but I forgot you traded him so oof on my part.

I think if you go and get a Seth Jones you kind of have to put him and Murphy as the top two RD. Bumping boqvist down to third pair kind of makes him a lot more disposable. Top pair dmen are rare. Seth Jones is that guy. Murphy and his contract are great fit on second pair. Boqvist needs one more year to be looked at and tbh if he doesn’t wow I’d say move on.

Sidenote: I like dmen who can play defense and Boqvist is not that. He is next gen Erik Gustaffson not Erik Karlsson. Without Kane feeding him layups I don’t see boqvist improving much. Boqvist needs to earn his top 4 spot over Murphy/Jones
