Just dont see BOS and EDM as trading partners. BOS will probably want to move DeBrusk in a package for an upgrade or fill another need as a competing team.

Why does Boston do this deal? Kassian doesn't make Boston better and the 2nd doesn't help them to win now unless they plan on flipping it in another deal.

Too many years for Khaira(also don't think he's in the plans, likely going to Seattle now that Jones is gone) and 1 too many years for the other RFA's, they'll likely be signing "Bridge" deals to get them to Arb Rights, only need 2 more.. And much to the chagrin of Oiler fans, it sounds like Kassian won't be going anywhere, and I think after a down year numbers wise he's bound to come back and put up 15+ tucks and get 30+ points while playing the physical game he plays, he was good in the playoffs, it was just too little too late... I also don't get why you'd be bringing Chiasson back for that caphit, if he did come back I'd guess it would be for maybe $1.5ish, AND Trevor Lewis came to Winnipeg on a PTO and signed next to a league min deal($750k), he was solid for them, but not enough to warrant and $500k salary bump to play the 4th line in Edm... Also think Yamamoto would be getting $1m too much in the bridge deal, I see him signing something like Bear did, 2 years $2m, kind of a sh*t or get off the pot deal as a top 6 player.. And if they bring back both Barrie AND Larsson doubt Bear sticks around, can see him being used as bait to get a fairly established top 6 winger, like a Victor Olofsson in Buffalo type player, and have Bouchard slot in on the bottom pairing with PP mins...
