Why would the leafs move a good 3c who can play 2w for a bad backup goalie who makes way more than he should?

Kerfoot is not a good 3C and not a top six winger either.

The better question is why would the Pens move their starting goalie that just won his division and is a year removed from being an All-star for a C that would likely be the #5-6 C (Sid, Geno, Carter, Blueger) on the team?

Hextall and Burke have both said that they don't want to move Jarry. He didn't cost the Pens the playoffs, just one game. Get him a better goalie coach and I think he'd be fine.
