No reason for the Kings to do it. They take on 3.3mil more and only get a 3rd out of it. Palat and Kempe are similar players, except Palat plays on a much better team.

Yes, but your going to have the same issue. Basically you're wanting the Bolts to get a cheaper version of Palat. I get that, but it will cost you more than a 3rd to get that.

The issue is, a team with cap space won't help out Tampa Bay unless real assets are coming back. Palat would be a cap dump, and with how desperate TBL will be, all teams with cap space will squeeze them for as many assets as they can.

Kempe himself would easily get a 2nd and is a cheaper and younger than Palat. The Kings would take on Palat but ask for a 2nd and Alnefelt, and not send Kempe back. I think most teams will use their cap issue to their advantage.

I disagree with that Seattle is going to take cap dumps. They want to good immediately. They will save their cap to spend on UFAs not cap dumps
