Welcome to CF. That's not enough for Weegar.

That doesn't get you Weegar. He was 8th in Norris voting. A bottom 6 C, an okay prospect, and some late-round picks is an insultingly cheap offer

Do you think this years first replacing the two picks will be enough?

Costs more than a 7th to dump Moore. Especially since they could just take Clifton instead. This is the equivalent of them trading Clifton for Moore + 7th.

The thing that you’re missing is that florida has no desire to trade him.

No. That would still be a 1st round pick for a top-line defenseman

I agree with your point, shouldve thought that one through more. Who would you put on the bottom pair, I don't think the bruins are going deep in the playoffs if they have clifton there if seattle doesnt take him that is.

Yes, it probably would a 1st, Vaak and prospect not wagner (Steen) Something like that. Maybe a better NHL forward (debrusk, Ritchie)

Although I don't think FLA does it because they need convince Barkov to stay and trading their second best dman for futures isn't the way. Unless they really feel like Weegar played way above his head.

Also - from a Bruins perspective - Love the player, but that's a lot to give up for what would be your 3rd pairing guy. Get a top 4 LD if you are going to move those assets.

And the pick is #20 so it’s not like it is an early lottery pick. However, we do have another defenseman that you might be interested in. He’s very reliable, never misses a game, and has ties to New England. 😂

Well, I'm not a Bruins fan, so I can't say for sure, but Suter just got bought out... He'd come in cheap

Weegar is worth way more than that and it'll cost way more to dump moores contract AND stop SEA from taking a player.

Personally I think Seattle might take Lauzon for me it’s close between him and clifton. And the Moore trade shouldn’t be too bad, I agree maybe more than a 7th but i don’t see it being more than a 5th for a team to take his contract. They’re giving up low risk assests to get rid of a player who sits in the box.

Lauzon is worth a late first IMO and Moore will cost a 2-3 round pick to dump. It would cost prolly a 3rd and a decent player/prospect to stop them from taking Lauzon and take moores contract
