Don’t think the bruins really want either of those players.

That doesn't help Boston compete at all. Might be as bad as the trades Edmonton fans produce for debrusk.

You’re right. Idk why I thought BOS was in more of a cap crunch.

Nah, we're in top 6 in the league for cap space. smile

Sabres want a good prospect and a #1 pick this year, not next. I would be okay with Perrault. If it has to be a 2022 pick from Ana, then it couldn’t be top 5 protected.

The bruins have a weirdly large amount of cap space.

BUF isn’t getting a top 5 pick this season or next for Reinhart. I only made it top 5 protected because this roster shouldn’t finish in the bottom 5 of the league unless injuries happened. Maybe top 2 protected is better just so if ANA won the lottery they wouldn’t get screwed.

Canes definitely don’t want Shatty regardless of Dougie leaving. Not a replacement and not a good fit

Why? I think he’s actually be a great fit next to Slavin.

He hasn’t been an effective top 4d for about 5 years. He’d be fine in a sheltered role on the third pair with some PP time but that’s not what the canes are looking for. Definitely wouldn’t put him on top pair facing best quality opponents on a nightly basis. Would rather look elsewhere.

Shattenkirk has been in the top 1/3 of Dmen in WAR over the last 3 seasons. So he has been a top pair defenseman. He’s a play driver. Slavin could be a perfect partner for him.
