Make it a first round pick and we have a deal. I might even say yes if you refused.

Rumor has it Kaprisov wants $9 mil a year and is threatening to go back to the K if he doesn't get it. Not sure if it's true, but if that's the case, BUF should avoid him, and MIN should move him.....but for assets that aren't injured and $10 mil a year.

I doubt know if you’re getting KK straight up for eichel let alone everything else you’d like. That’s an absolutely absurd overpayment. Clear elite playmaker for an elite center that’s injured? And the team getting the injured player is giving up +++? No way

That’s not true. First of all, Kaprizov hasn’t had anything to do with the contract talks, it’s all on his agent right now. His agent turned down the 9 million because it was for a 8 year term. His agent wants a 3/4 year term for less money instead so Kaprizov can sign a bigger deal at 28/29 years old before he starts to lose value around his 30s. This has been made public multiple times. Also, this is terrible value for Minnesota, gross overpayment.

Yeah, you can keep dreaming with this. Wild have zero interest in eichel without kaprizov

If you think wild are ever trading kaprizov, and on top adding all those pieces, you are dreaming

I don't disagree with you, I'm just stating what I heard reported up here in Canada. If they can sign him to a 3-4 year deal at around 6, I think that's perfect for both sides, cause Guerin can put more pieces around him and by that time the cap should go up, the Suter / Parise Buyout heavy years will be over, and they can sign him long term at whatever they feel is worth it.
Regarding the trade, I wouldn't do this trade.

But it does drive me nuts when people keep stating that a team will never trade a player. Everyone is on the table for the right price at some point.

Actually I'm not. If the best player to ever play the game was traded, then anyone can.

This is so far off. Only reason there's rumors of Kap going to the K is because its the only negotiation tool he has. His camp is using it for leverage and there is ZERO chance he will be traded to buffalo for Eichel he's gonna get a 3 year deal from Minnesota and you will have to wait 2 years before you can even think about Kap in a trade. Also if they were to trade Kap for Eichel it would be 100% straight up. delusional.
