Actually value wise, I like the trades. But McDonagh's NTC kills that deal. That's too much term for Larsson IMO

My guess is Larsson is offered quite a few 4x4 so someone is going to offer more. Flyers are desperate to be better defensively so I wouldn’t be shocked to see them be the ones to overpay. As for McDonagh, there’s so many guys with clauses, they’re gonna have to convince someone to go. Since he has 2 cups now he might be more willing

I like the idea behind the Coyotes deal. I'd rather try to just do Soderstrom for Sanhiem straight up but that's a really interesting deal that is pretty fair on both sides.

I don't really wanna touch Larsson but everything else is pretty solid. The Lightning deal I'd do that in a heartbeat.

Sorry I disagree with your McDonagh logic. He is more motivated to stay in Tampa more than ever. Johnson, McDonagh, Gourde, Stamkos, Kutcherov, Valiesky have no motivation to waive their trade clauses.
Killorn and Palat have M NTCs are the most logical to go. And I don't know why there are so many don't want to put Sergachev or another good young player with cap on the trading block...if needed.

Well if TB is 18 mil over the cap, even if they traded mcdonagh, cirelli, Killorn and Palat that’s almost 21.5 million. And that’s with taking no salary back. They’re gonna have to make a lot of moves. I think that’s also where the stamkos talk is coming from. They have a lot of work to do. And who knows who Seattle is going to take from them and how much relief they get from that alone. It will be interesting for sure

What would you want from the Blackhawks for Voracek? We have protection space

Idk what deal would make sense between them but the list of players I’d be interested in from the blackhawks are: Kane, Kubalik, Strome, Debrincat, Boqvist, Dach, Murphy and Reichel. Any of those you’d be willing to part with?

I mean no but you have him going to Seattle for nothing. Figured you'd be interested in getting some value back. I know I would

You don’t want to take something back just for the sake of taking something back. Will it be a challenge to replace Voraceks production? Sure. But I would rather lose him and get only cap space in return than take back a contract and a player that we don’t think fits the team and the direction they want to go. 8+ million in cap space is an extremely valuable asset in and of itself

Okay then take draft picks and prospects?

Ok what do you propose is adequate value? Normally when Jake or JVR is mentioned in trade proposals it’s usually taking a contract back ( usually a bad one) or as a throw in as part of a bigger trade to make the dollars work.
Nonetheless, I would most definitely take back picks and prospects for Jake. I just don’t know enough about your prospects to have a preference other than the one guy I mentioned
