The way the world is these days it doesn't matter... steve Moores family will release a statement and blah blah blah

Having said that I think he's a great player and would jump on a trade this trade

Not sure if the older fans would let that ride. Three names I'd still have a hard time seeing on an Avs jersey - McCarty, Cooke, Bertuzzi. I know its stupid. Great player, but damn...

For the Bertuzzi trade, I don’t love the trade for the following reasons. That first round pick is what 29th OVR? Compher is a pretty replaceable guy via FA. Timmins plays a position Detroit looks good at with Seider + Hronek and then Lindstrom & Tuomisto as prospects.
