Not enough for one of Hertl or Ferraro, so definitely not enough for both AND retention!

    Ferraro is untouchable.
I wouldn't touch Greenway, his analytics are still absolutely atrocious.
Couture reportedly dealt will a lot of injuries after his red hot first half of the season.
Even if SJ was willing to trade them both, this is quite underwhelming in terms of value.

I would pick one between Saad and tatar and we can have strum play the wing with Rossi hopefully coming up mid year to push bjugstad to the press box.

Just awful. Doesnt even get you a non retained Hertl by himself, much less Ferraro too

I don't know if this is supposed to be a troll AGM, but assuming it's not that trade for Hertl and Ferraro is ludicrously low. I'm sure DW would block your phone for making such an insanely lowball offer, especially when we want top prospects or lottery 1st round picks for Hertl. As for Ferraro, he's our best young defenseman and will be critical for our future so I don't think we'll be in any shape to send him out even with an improved offer for Hertl.

my problem with this is that the islanders save 1 million in cap. they can’t trade Leddy and only get 1m in space and inferior player. too valuable of a player

Regarding the Kaprizov contract I'm 99% certain Michael Russo reported the Wild already offered him 8 x $8M and he turned it down. He wants a 2-3 year contract so he can sign a massive deal when he hits UFA. Wild obviously want to sign him for 8 years but it doesn't sound like that'll happen. I'm hoping we at least get 4-5 years otherwise it'd be a real bummer to finally have him come to the NHL after a 5 year wait only to leave after a few seasons.

It sounds like Fiala thinks he's more of a $7M+ type of player. It's hard to blame him when you look at his numbers (its something like 38g over his last 82 games) but I don't see the Wild going that high with him. I could see something shorter for Fiala like 3 x $6.5M

Regardless of return, there would legit be rioting in the streets of San Jose if Doug Wilson traded away the two most popular Sharks, especially considering that Ferraro is likely to be a cornerstone of our rebuild and is likely in the mix for an A sooner rather than later. A trade *that bad* would absolutely cost Doug Wilson his job, and I would personally hunt him down and beat him silly with my left flip-flop.

We’re not trading Elvis and we’d want futures for Jones. The contract years don’t matter on Elvis and definitely don’t matter on the wild players we’re acquiring

Butcher is expendable, but I don't think NJD would have much interest in Rask.
They have plenty of better centers in their system.
