Drouin is a toss up for any trade or dealng right now. So if you trade him to Colorado or somewhere else he can start again sure. Else, they'll put him on the LTIR so nothing on that other than if possible .. why not.

The only thing I'm worried about on this list is Hyman.. I'm concerned that his stats may be off since he played with Matthews and Marner a few times over hence his points went up. Other than that, just want to say thank you for Danault at 5.5M$ because most think he'll sign at less than 5... So finally someone who signed at the price he was actually looking for.

Hyman will probably get a contract around 5.5 Mio with more term. Something like 5x5.5 or so. For that amount of money, he'll stay a Leaf.

you're not going to get Toews who plays on our top line D for a guy who might not even play. If landy isn't getting signed they will have plenty of cap space to pursue a free agent, for example thye would out bid you here on hyman

Toews was a top-10 defenseman this year. That trade is incredibly far off.

Where is Armia walking to? He's been great for the Habs since putting on that sweater. Big, mobile, possession type guy with hands that can score. He's 28 and sees what this team can do so now he leaves?
He will sign another 2-3 year deal @ 2.75 mil per. IMO

Avs are not trading Toews, they dont want Doruin, and Drouin doesnt get half of a Dman like Toews in a trade.

Drouin has literally zero trade value right now. Why would COL make a trade for a 1st pairing dman for a more expensive on LTIR wing and a late 2nd. AND FFS, nobody gives a **** that MacKinnon and Drouin played together in juniors almost a decade ago, that has zero bearing on the fact Drouin has no value.

Ok so they sign him to a 4-5 year deal at an AAV of 2.75 mil per then. The Habs won't lose Armia, Tatar and Danault just because "the doors are open". They'll sign 2 out of the three which ain't never bad!

armia will also want to play more than fourth line minutes... Eric Engels said hes unlikely to resign.
