Contract values aside, the UFA signings look good. Why are the Jets giving away Copp though? Wouldn't they be better off trading him for something they need? And why make a lateral move at best with Stanley and give up Stanley's upside?

Landeskog would look great in a Jets jersey. I like what you did with the team. I wonder if landeskog would take that or if he’s looking for more $.

Landeskog is gonna get at least $8. I think you'd need to give him between $8.5 and $9 to get him to the Peg

Lateral move...but a right shot...we have Heinola and Samberg coming up and Risto can provide the big right shot that we need

I don't understand the Seattle trade. Seattle would DEFINETLY rather just take Copp than get Copp and Niku for a 2nd

Okay I see where you're going. I'm not a Ristolainen fan, so I'd avoid him, but if you're a fan I can see it. Why give Copp away for nothing though?

It's part of the deal...Niku as the drafted player and Copp for a 2nd...WPG won't allow Copp to go to Seattle for free

Value wise, it is pretty good. A 2nd doesn't help the Jets win now though, but I guess with your other moves you weren't concerned with getting only futures for him.

Exactly... Vesalainen can play a role on the 3rd line and we have the 4th line guys to PK with Lowry and Apples

Well we have to give up someone, and I'm sure Seattle would take Appleton for free over Copp and Niku for a 2nd
