kubalik is a really nice piece but a left shot 30 - 50 point winger may not be the solution in calgary, i think a lot of people are hoping mangiapane will be that this year and with pelletier, zary, dube, tkachuk, emilio petterson, ruzicka all on the left side they have enough there to fill the bottom 6.

nylander would be an interesting piece if he could fit into the middle six, but with sutter behind the bench calgary is looking to compete and i dont think they would take a chance on a guy like that this year.

all in without expansion and stuff like that i think the hawks are over paying for one year of gaudreau, he will hit the open market if hes not in calgary or philly.
