How dare you ask the turtle-loving Braden Holtby to bring his little teenage mutant turtles back over the border :P

These are so incredibly bold assumptions. I do love how you have teams paying the Blackhawks for taking their good players. Just assume everyone rejected your offers.

I've re-added him to my ignore list, can't stand this guy with awful trades or the fact he spammed one time Toews is going to retire of some crazy illness and his inside source in the hawks front office told him.

These are cap dump situations only read the title of the team, the win for the team losing said "good player" is that they now have cap space.

Ah yes the cap dumps known as Nylander and Marchessault. I have never seen them produce or be contributors. Both players are on contracts that are equivalent to their production with term left. If you want a good player you have to pay for them. Louis Eriksson is a cap dump.

The Hawks know cap dumps all too well and the value to rid them... Bick w/Tuevo, Big Buff, Hjalmerson, Panarin, Saad need I say more? All these players had to be launched for a price of return in basically only cap relief while hemeraging assets assets to get others to help take those hits knowing the position of the team.

You might want to go back and review those trades. In most of those instances there was no cap change for the Hawks. A lot of them happened at the tail end of contracts. I'll give you Bickell as a cap dump, except he is identical situation as Eriksson. Soooooo you proved my point you need to pay to get good players. Just because the Hawks lost some of those trades doesn't mean they didn't think they were getting a good return.

Agree to disagree every stud the Hawks had to trade in the last decade was due to the cap.

Bickell before he was diagnosed was a cap dump that we had to tie Tuevo to in order for the Canes to take the contract of Bicks.

When we had to trade Sharp we had to attach Johns with him in the deal.

When we had to trade Campbell, Hayes went with him.

The point I am making is that when a team is cap strapped and needs to make room the need to send high priced out the door with a kicker for very little in return other than the fact that they now have cap relief.

That is what this team illustrates. Every one of these teams is up against the cap trying to find a way to pay RFA and dip under the cap. The Hawks for the first time in a long time can use the space they have in order to gain assets.

Not to mention is a make-believe team. I love how so many people act as if I slapped their grandmother with some of my team creations. Its all fake! If you don't like my teams dont open them and especailly don't troll or take personal shots at me because I know the rules here and that would be a viloation.

Point out where I crossed a line. You seem to be the one taking things personally.

Hawks made trades in the past and this is proof of the present.

Leafs and Vegas also have 0 RFAs that need big signings with money coming off them this offseason and next. Insinuating that both NEED to make a move means you aren't understanding how these teams are structured. Both teams have run 18 players to not move a contract like these.

Just because Chicago isn't screwed for once doesn't mean other teams will be run like they have in the past.
