2022 will be a strong draft year and I'm already very reluctant to give up Stutzle who has 6 years of team control for an injured guy. Stutzle may be just as good as Eichel was in the future and Eichel may never be the same player again.

Change the 2022 1st to Zaitsev and I'd consider.

The reason they're getting a first, or at least a high pick is exactly because of the "maybe and what ifs" of a prospect. While I think its pretty safe to say Stutzle will be great, there's no promise he'll be what Eichel is now or was at 100%. Can swap White for Zaitsev if it makes you feel better, but nobody is giving Eichel away for 1 prospect and an nhl player so the pick stays. Can even keep the trade the same and top ten protect it

Not a chance Ottawa is giving up the 2022 1st and Stutzle. Kings fans don't even want to do Byfield for Eichel 1 for 1. I think Stutzle has proven more than Byfield at this point.

Heck Anaheim won't even give up Zegras or Drysdale for Eichel and Stutzle is better than both of them.
