A 2nd in this years draft is nothing special and the Habs don't want Lucic, not gonna happen. 3 Mill can be better spent elsewhere.

If anything a 2nd this year is worth more than most others because of the lack of scouting.

Just to play devils advocate. It's been said many times that it's not a deep draft and these guys are all known so personally the 2nd doesn't help that much.

No that's not correct at all, it was labeled as a weak draft because Raty was the projected #1 OA last year when he would normally be a mid teens pick (where he is now). The depth of the draft is perfectly fine and normal to most years
