Oilers would not trade Archie. Besides his Kadri gaffe , he's been so rock steady . One of the most consistent players on our bottom 6. Tippet loves him

Why would the Oilers retain on Archibald? And Columbus gets a heap of junk and a couple picks to give up Domi with retainment?

we wouldn't with everyone, kuemper probably walks, ekholm has to take a sweet heart deal, rielly walks or gets traded, domi resigns for near what he's making currently, i also think dermott gets moved to free some money

i understand the retaining thing, might have to give up more for that but the Domi deal is actually quite a bit for a guy who isn't going to re-sign in columbus. He is also coming off of shoulder surgery so who knows what he is like.
