Peterson will be the starter, so it'll be interesting to see how he takes that role for the first time. Quick will be a capable backup.

If last year is any indicator, with Anderson playing phenomenally with Doughty, that bottom 4 is really solid.

I think Sakic has to do that. They are in ROUGGGHH shape with Makar, Landeskog, and Grubauer all needing raises at the same time. Perfect for LA to try to swipe him up, but the question is will he sign for a team that isn't quite ready to contend? He hasn't won anything yet with Colorado, so I imagine he's looking for a Cup competitor if he leaves.

If I’m Colorado , there’s no way I’m giving Grubauer 5+ mill. Just sign Andersen for 2 years at 3 mill per. Then if Landy doesn’t accept anything under 8, just move on. Sign some guys to 1 year deals, mayeb trade for Killorn or Palat , etc.

I'm with you. I might be speaking blasphemy because he was in the Vezina conversation, but I've never gotten the impression that Grubauer can "get it done" when it matters most. Neither has Anderson, to be fair, but you can have Anderson for much cheaper that Grubauer, like you say.

I'd rather find a strong 2c than sign Landy, but I'd be good with all these moves if they happened.
