Arz isn't moving Chychrun and while Marner is a very valuable asset, at team isn't giving up all of their good players for him and moderate futures + garbage .

Your probably right. But Arizona is hurting for money and Mitch has been paid a boat load of the contract already. Other players trade to them can keep things competitive and cheap and are nhl ready or high b level prospects

Arz isn't going to be competitive no matter who they trade for.

Hurting for money doesn't make you suddenly stupid enough to make bad hockey deals.

While I'm sure Tor fans will get salty over this, due to contracts I think Chychrun is worth more than Marner straight up, hence why Arz isn't moving him.

I think Tor could package futures to get players like Garland, Kuemper or Dvorak, but probably not all 3 and certainly more than what you have there.
