Tkachuk has barely had any chance at doing anything because the Flames aren't a very good organization and Marner has been given every chance to help his team have success in the playoffs but has decided to not show up for like 15 playoff games now.

the answer is NONE. The guy has shown ZERO, ZILCH, NADA progression over the past few seasons, has refused to be selfess and take a pay cut when he didn't accomplish ANYTHING, he's one of the softest players in the league and please, if you really knew a single damn thing about this sport you'd know points aren't everything. Danault had less points than Toffoli in the Habs' playoff run but he was 5 times more important.

his years to progress like crazy are over, hes 6 years into the league. After his first 3 seasons his progression jumped immensely becoming over a pt/g nhler, turning him into a career over pt/g player, and a top penalty killer

I think youre a bit clueless on the matter if you think Tkachuk has progressed immensely over the last 3 years compared to Marner.

The point isn't to say Tkachuk is more talented than Marner, the point is to say that the style of game Tkachuk plays (pain in the ass, tough as hell, can and will go in the corner, will annoy the hell out of you and willing to drop the gloves) while still being (on a mediocre team) a money in the bank 25 goals 65 pts a season while saving cash on the short team and while filling a LW hole is a massive W for TOR. That's it. If you can't understand that, it's not my problem

Lol. Hintz isn’t a no questions asked player for us. I would consider something based around Guri, Rads, and our first round pick. Even then we really don’t have the room for another big money forward. Not a good Marner fit imho
