for Flyers, not giving a 3rd and 4th for a backup and/or borderline 1B costing 2.87 mil.

I get the reasoning, but Philly's money is better spent elsewhere

If I am the Sabres, the only way I trade Eichel to the Habs is if Suzuki is part of the deal...not saying the Habs would/should do it, just saying that Suzuki would likely be the deal-breaker on any potential Eichel to the Habs deal.
I'm also not sure that Danault signs with the Habs at $4.8 mil. I think he might sign elsewhere for $4.8 mil/yr but not in MTL, especially if the rumours were true that he was offered more than that per season last off-season.

I touched on something similar with the Bruins in a different comment section, any deal from the Atlantic division has to blow the Sabres away. And I agree, it starts with Suzuki in any Eichel deal with Montreal.
