Yeah, I was almost expecting Keith to "waive" his NMC with an understanding with Seattle to not pick him out of respect to a 38YO future HHOF player who had just moved to a preferred destination to be closer to his kid.

An article like this is a good example of the behind the curtain tampering that goes on. Always amazing how many players have deals ready to go within 10 minutes of the UFA period beginning. Can't openly call him or say to a reporter but can play a game of telephone to get the info there.
