Why exactly would Minnesota trade the literal savior of their franchise??

Why would the Wild do the trade? And Kaprizov has already been offered 8x9m by the Wild and declined so why would he take 8x$8m in Vancouver?

Swap Boeser for Petterson and then it's actually a trade with some merit for discussion, but as of now, the hometown hero thing in Boeser and Schmidt doesn't carry nearly that much value. Both the better players are going to Vancouver.

I think you’d need to add petterson to any trade proposals for kaprizov. Boeser, petterson and Schmidt for dumba and kaprizov. Has promise.

You can keep dreaming with this trades. Like wild are never trading kaprizov. At all.

Wild don't want an injured prone player in Boeser

Dumba is going nowhere for Nate schmidt

To think wild would Accept a Worse player, Contract, and cap in Nate schmidt is beyond laughable

Wild gm has made it clear the hometown aspect mean Jack squat to him considering he just got rid of Parise, and wild have zero Minnesota roster players

    Let's see, Vancouver gets:

    -the best player

    -the best defenseman

    Minnesota gets:

    -an inferior forward

    -a borderline bad contract

Yeah why exactly does Minnesota consider this? Yuck

    Dumba > Schmidt
    Kaprizov > Boeser

And the GM of the year award in 2022 goes to.... Jim Benning! Who would've thought!
