Well, the last 4 years Landy has taken anywhere from 450 to 600 faceoffs a year, winning at a 51% rate. So hes plenty capable to play in the middle and im sure he wouldnt mind centering Panarin.

Ive tossed this same trade up several times before with very few people saying it was a bad deal.

A MTL fan themselves said a middle pick and a prospect like Skinner. Only going by what was given to me.

You should look up how many games wild lost because of face-offs problems including game 7 vs. Vegas in playoffs. When you are winning 30- 40 percent of face-offs, it's a big problem costing games

Its an intentional overpay for Greenway because MIN has zero incentive to trade him but hes exactly the kind of player we need.

As far as Skinner goes, its whatever man, neither Rykov or Skinner will play for the Rangers. If we can get a solid veteran plug for this year, its fine with me.

I don't think Colin Blackwell is moving the needle, at all. As far as I'm concerned it's still just Greenway for Strome, and I'd rather go after a different target if we're going to move Greenway.

A 3rd rounder will get chiarot... or better we can just go to FA options and get equally as good options for free and likely smaller contracts. Greenway might get taken in expansion and even if not. We don’t need to trade strome and if we are we’ll get good value for him, greenway isn’t worth a 1st and centers are more valuable than wingers. We can get tougher players in FA or cheaper options, maroon, deslaurieir, goodrow, etc. it’s just not needed to go after more wingers with the current situation.
