Obviously having eichel on your team is a fantastic addition, but you would have to give up the bank for him. You dont want to give up on all those picks and prospects we acquired in the last few years. Idk, maybe i still have scars from the last time mtl tried to get a #1 center (if the name scott gonez comes to mind). We also got some good young center with a bright future ahead and we should use that extra cap space (gonna miss you weber) to fill some needs on RD and LW. Also danault is most likely gone unfortunately :(

The trades.
I think edm would be interested in allen because he is a cheap goalie who can do the job as a starter if needed. And mtl is most likely to trade him cuz seattle would take him otherwise.
Seattle will take fleury since everyone else is protected and hes young with talent.
Arizona might be interested in drouin since he has a lot of talent and he might be the kind of player that can succed in a small market. The extra picks would definitly make it more interesting. Mtl gets dvorak to replace danault.

Also i saw somewhere that hall’s contract could be at 5.5mil, so if mtl offers more he maybe he signs here

I Think the oilers could use allen. But I dont think they will give up 2 2nd rounders for him.

I agree on both points, Oilers could use Allen and 2 2nds is too much for Allen I think you could make an argument of Allen for a 2nd and Koskinen but not more than that (even then I think Edmonton might balk at that price)

Seattle would take Kulak. Excellent rush defender who can compliment a 2nd pair partner. Don't know why they would skip over him to select Cale Fleury out of all people.
