Not an Avs fan myself, but his good FO% doesn't equate to him being a good center. Yes, he is a very capable faceoff guy, but he is a winger

He takes faceoffs on left side (since MacK is right shot) and then switching back to wing position in the play. Faceoffs are the only reason he is listed as C anywhere (here, fantasy hockey, etc.). He is not a center.

Not an Avs fan, but Benn can play centre very well, as well as he can play winger. He’s god on faceoffs, but this year he really proved that he can play the centre position all together.

Regarding Landy I’m pretty sure he’s more of a Giroux type of player that steps in for faceoffs when he’s needed. At least that’s what I’ve heard from Avs fans.

He is not and never will be a center. Anyone who tells you otherwise because COL has players take FO's on their strong side isn't worth listening too.

We were f*cked from day 1 when signing that contract and the Benn contract. I’m pretty sure we can fit everything all together in the next few years if Nill doesn’t hand out contracts like it’s monopoly money, or else we’re deeply f*cked.

Also the fact that Benn’s contract is humongous isn’t the main problem to moving him, it’s his NMC. There’s literally no way on this earth that he’ll waive.

Yeah that's fair. I actually think DAL is a SUPER interesting team but until they get some things settled with the kids and the blue line their hands are kinda tied

Not always true, WPG was searching for a 2C nearly every year but every time Scheifele went down Wheeler moved to the middle and played just fine

Hire Tom Wilson to take all of our sh*t contracts out so that we can put them on LTIR.

Ya but typically you value c over w so if you felt comfortable with it long term you’d keep them at c

He played C for one game and looked natural. His two-way ability translates perfectly to C. He is absolutely a top six C today.
