Didn't know the Rangers didn't have the 81.5m cap limit as other teams have.

Rangers have $22M in cap space right now ????

Might have to add a prospect or pick to get Bertuzzi not sure what the ask is.

Laf I think is interesting no question his potential is off the charts but until it happens it's a gamble both ways

I have clearly said above we might have to add something ^ I think you are undervaluing kerfoot he is quite versatile but then again everyone overvalues their own players and undervalues others.

Stop with all the crappy Bertuzzi trades. Neither player helps the Wings. Engvall is a 4th liner and Kerfoot is not all that great either.

Sure the Rangers going to trade Laf, he is one year in to a career.

For being the Hockey world capital, as Leaf fans like to say, you guys think everyone is stupid. And you wonder why everyone touts against the Leafs.

This is what we know:

1. Toronto is interested in Bertuzzi.

2. Yzerman will listen to offers for Bertuzzi.

3. Bertuzzi hasn't asked for a trade.

4. Detroit isn't trying to trade him.

This is very simple you want something only Detroit has so Detroit can ask for what ever they want.

Toronto can say no we aren't giving up that much for Bertuzzi.

Detroit will say fine by us we will keep Bertuzzi.

retain half of marner and maybe the rangers consider. Cap is going to be an issue with extensions for Fox, Mika, Kravtsov and Kakko at the end of this year. They also have to resign Buch, Sheterkin, Chytil this year. 22m current cap + 8m in expiring deals, thats 30m to resign 7 key pieces. Fox, Mika, Buch and Shesterkin easily take up the majority of that.
