Quick you have time to delete this before they murder you.
Eichel starts with Suzuki, and then we probably add

Solid deal for Eichel. These Sabres fans need to get it through their head that they arent getting a teams best prospect for Eichel. If the Ducks wont give up Zegras then why would the Habs give up Suzuki

I agree, but that might not be the case. I think a few very good pieces can good enough for Eichel who is one player

And other fans need to get it through their heads that Jack is still under contract for 5 years. You don't get Jack unless you pony up. I understand you don't want to trade Suzuki for him - I'd be on the fence about it personally. Just means they're not a fit as a trade partner

Trading Zegras with the potential of Eichel with ELC and no injury concerns is lunacy. These Sabres trade demands wont be close to met.

Suzuki's ELC lasts another year. Far too valuable for a cap team and he's a better all around player. Eichel wont get value unless you have another problem contract/player the other way ala Laine/PLD

So Suziki is a top 10 PLAYER in the WORLD in your opinion? Must be sunny in that world you're living in.

If you don't think he's going to be healthy, there's no trade to be made. Which is fine. If you don't want to trade Suzuki, there's probably no trade to be had. Which is understandable. Neither of these things discounts Jack's trade value, which is Suzuki+ a lot

He means more to the team than what I believe Eichel would bring. Eichel as you said is not a fit in Montreal. The style of play in Montreal agrees more with Nick. The devil you know as they say. Eichel is far too risky. At his health status no he's not top 10 in the NHL. His health status puts his value far outside that. In Eichel you are paying for him regaining his potential. I dont believe the Habs can take that risk.

Fair enough. I get the health concerns, I just don't see the point in having the discussion involving his health. The process for an Eichel trade will be this:

1. Team X and the Sabres agree on fair value for Jack
2. Team X gets his medical records
3a. Team X decides he's healthy enough, and pull the trigger.
OR
3b. Team X decides its too risky and says no deal

And then 3b scares everyone off, because this would undoubtedly leak

Health will be the last box to check in real life, so there's no point in shooting down a hypothetical trade when we'll never see his medical records.

It comes down to which teams really believe that Eichel can make his way back to stud status. I dont see a contender doing that! Rags and the Kings would be more willing i think. Going to take a lot of risk on both sides for an Eichel deal.
It's really a difficult trade

I agree 100%. I think we'll know his health status once a team comes close enough to get a peak at his medical records

This was my proposal for Eichel. Ive been told by Habs fans this is way too much. I personally think i might need to add a 2nd rounder or a Mysak type prospect.

Kotkaniemi, Jesperi [RFA Rights]
Primeau, Cayden
Guhle, Kaiden
Anderson, Josh
2021 1st round pick (MTL)
2022 1st round pick (MTL)
