Although Palat is probably worth a first or more no one is going to pay a premium to help Tampa get out of cap hell

For the BILLIONTH time ...why would 1 team make a decision based on Tampa situation? Teams are competing for assets with the OTHER 30 teams ...it is not a 1-1 negotiation... it is market price for 30 teams when dealing with Tampa ... it's called business 101 ... if you dont understand this concept ...never get a real job

TB isn't breaking Killorn and Cirelli combo up if they are both still on the team. Over 70% of Cirelli's career TOI Killorn has been on the ice too.

yes, there are 30 other teams, but all 30 of them know TB is hamstrung with their cap right now. Even if they don't want to talk to Philly, no other team is going to give them a true 1 to 1 trade. TB screwed themselves in future years to win this year. That's the reality, and now they have to pain stakingly begin to pay for it.

oh, and I have a real job just so you know

Good god .. yes 30 teams "know" the Tampa Cap .. BUT each team will NOT have the same talent evaluations ...NOT have same cap ...NOT have the same skill sets/players.. NOT have same record and team GM/Owners etc. Etc. Etc.. you are making assumptions all 30 teams will act "alike" ...ZERO probability of that ..

If you don't get above you don't have the business decision skills in free market environments...

Because this piece would be a luxury not a need for Philly and you're right it is a market price but when that one business or team depending on the situation NEEDS to get rid of some of their inventory there will be a lesser price for said thing.

How many times have we already seen a team get compensated for taking a good player on cause a team needs cap space this is also a brand new situation with it being a flat cap world and players rightfully demanding more money. It's funny how you seem to be fine saying something isn't a fit or won't work but when someone points out that the market price isn't going to be met by the entire league because they realize they have leverage you don't like it
