Quality over Quantity will get Eichel...this isn't enough, especially to trade him in the division

Caufield, Romanov, or Suzuki have to be a part of a potential Eichel deal, Drouin has no value.

The only reason Dunn is getting traded is due to protection slots so sending us another D doesnt do anything. And seeing the returns on Leddy and Keith, I might as well expect 5 first round picks.

The Keith trade is a massive head scratcher, but I wouldnt be surprised to see Leddy traded at the draft for a better return

Drouin is a wildcard. In the actual Eichel situation, habs will not need to include any of them. Eichel value is only going down right now : all gms knows that he wants to leaves , so thats even worse for the sabres.

Not really. The Sabres are under no obligation to trade Eichel no matter what he wants. If they aren’t getting the offer they want he doesn’t go anywhere. I think it’s probably best he comes back healthy and plays well, if he still wants out then I Sabres can field offers. The team that meets their asking price will be the one who gets Jack, even if it takes awhile. There is zero reason to rush into a bad deal, time is the one thing Buffalo does have.

If your star player doesn't want to play in your team, you should trade him the fastest you can (not by trading him for peanuts) before his value goes even more down. If a player doesn't want to be on the team it affect the team overall, so in this case I don't even sees them as a playoffs team until they make drastic changes, that included Eichel.

Then they'll end up trading him to a more desperate team, see its not that his values is going down. Every single team in the league would move heaven and earth to have a player like Eichel, so there's going to be a bidding war and if the Habs don't ante up then they don't get him and Buffalo moves onto the next team.

It's the fact that each and every GM knows he wants out that's increasing his value rn, people don't realize the only thing holding up this trade is the expansion draft.

The Blues, who have zero use for Kulak, knock that back angrily.
