Better than Doug Wilson

Description
This what I would do if in charge, not realistic at all and Bob Boughner would most likely **** up the line up anyways.

  1. Neal, James
  2. 2021 1st round pick (EDM)
  3. 2021 7th round pick (EDM)
EDM
  1. Donato, Ryan
  2. Gambrell, Dylan
Additional Details:
Oilers get to move a bad contract in exchange for depth they desperately need. Sharks take on a contract that wont change the coarse they are on right now with their retool and gain a mid 1st round pick. This also makes Ken Holland's Duncan Keith deal less damaging cap wise.
2.
SJS
  1. 2021 3rd round pick (MIN)
  2. 2022 1st round pick (MIN)
MIN
  1. Meier, Timo
  2. 2021 7th round pick (EDM)
Additional Details:
Coming off the second disappointing season in a row, it is smart to move Timo Meier while he's still young. A change of scenery would do him well. For a Wild team looking to be a top dog in the central next season, picking up a certified top 6 forward to solidify the offense is a golden idea.
3.
SJS
  1. 2021 2nd round pick (MTL)
  2. 2022 2nd round pick (MTL)
MTL
  1. Burns, Brent ($1,500,000 retained)
  2. 2021 3rd round pick (MIN)
Additional Details:
Brent Burns has fallen off since his Norris win in 2017. The departure of forward skill and depth is a big reason for this. Moving him to a team with young talent is sure to boost his numbers and make the cap hit slightly more worth it. With Shea Weber's injury and a departure of a supposed offensive D man (Gustafsson) this is a win-win for both sides.
4.
SJS
  1. Chytil, Filip [RFA Rights]
NYR
  1. Gregor, Noah
  2. 2021 5th round pick (SJS)
Additional Details:
Sharks need a 3C who is young and can grow as the retool progresses. Rangers get a speedy 4C who also has room to grow as well as a mid round pick
5.
SJS
  1. 2021 5th round pick (BOS)
BOS
  1. Simek, Radim
Additional Details:
Radim Simek has been disappointing this past season, his cap hit has become unsavory and a Boston team looking to rebuild their depth could be willing to take a chance.
6.
SJS
  1. Okposo, Kyle
  2. 2021 2nd round pick (BUF)
  3. 2022 2nd round pick (BUF)
BUF
  1. 2021 5th round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
Sharks have the cap space to take on a bad contract or two. Taking on Kyle Okposo's bad contract for 2 years and getting several 2nds is a great move.

San Jose retains half AND sends 2 1sts with Burns to Montreal! In other words we don't want him either!

MIN cant afford Meier with the cap handcuffs that show up in 22-23. The only reasonable way I see them taking on Meier is if they believe he can have a career year here and be traded/flipped next summer for more than you’re asking for here. Which...maybe?...I guess, if he plays with Kaprizov or Fiala it’s possible. But way too risky. We can’t afford to stake a 1st and a 3rd on that premise.

Edit - and no reason because that bumps Zucc who we also have passive interest in raising trade capital in

Winger is something wild don't need, or want. So not happening. No disrespect but timo isn't starting in top 4 over matt boldy.

You also know what you are doing by putting 2022 1st round pick instead of 2021

Boston will give you the same return for Meier and they have the cap space to do it.
