    I remember the days when all of us thought Montour was a top pairing Dman lol. I think he’s ok as a 3rd pair right now

    He did well on Buffalo but I just assumed he was a top 4 d-man

    I think Goligoski or Ian Cole are good fits in Carolina.

    I would prefer a UFA other than Hoffman, but I don't hate it

    I’m with BadDeals. Relatively realistic but would much prefer somebody like Saad to Hoffman. Just seems like a much better fit in the system and lower risk than Hoffman. Not sure Montour is worth that honestly tho, I see his ceiling as a second pair guy and think this could be a stretch but not a ton of options to even being trying to replace Hamilton

    Agreed. I dont live hoffman but its something at least. I think landeskog would be perfect on the first line personally
