That was never a thing, the price was lowered, but the 1st round pick thing isnt a thing. Drouin does nothing for Buffalo, hes 26, and apparently not playing next year, even if he was they have no top line center, KK hasnt proven anything and isnt going to be a piece that Buffalo centers a deal around, and that first isnt valuable

Drouin is a cap dump.
He has a $5,000,000 contract for the next two years and has 9 goals over the past two seasons.
He plus 2021 first round pick for Future considerations is about fair.
The leave Kotkaniemi, Jesperi and a 2nd for Jack.
Kotkaniemi has one more career point than Casey Mittelstadt but has played in 15 more games.
So it is Casey Mittelstadt and Buffalo's 2022 3rd round pick for Eichel.
In what universe a fair trade?
