Description

My number one choice to replace Leddy is McCabe. He was arguably the best Sabres D man till he got hurt and in my opinion excel under Trotz system. I see him getting around 3.5-4 million for 3-4 years

Suter played under Trotz and at 36 can still be a serviceable top 4 d man. I see Praise most likely coming here and maybe that can persuade him. I can see him getting at least 2.5 for 1-2 years.

Martinez. I think him and Mayfield would be a very good fit. He also destroyed the hopes and dreams of Rangers fans in 2014 so there is that.

There was rumors of Chara coming to Long Island last year could see it on league minimum

Murray was a former devil and we all know how much he loves devils

Reilly would probably replace Leddy as the PP QB, might be one of my last choices

Oleksiak is my final option, he paired well with Miro in Dallas and would probably thrive under Trotz

Mccabe would be perfect for NYI and he would only cost money as a UFA, no assets

I'd be shocked to see Suter get less than $4m. Every article profiling him that I've ever read has talked about his love of his farm and what a savvy businessman he is. I really can't see him giving a team that much of a discount when he's still a completely capable top 4 defenseman and for most teams, that's a $4-5m player.
