Why take the minimum when a team has cap room, and why not go to a team that has a better chance if you take that little?

Why would Carolina trade their steal of the 2nd round for Pennies on the dollar?

Suter's agent told Michael Russo in an interview there are plenty of teams reaching out for Suter and he won't be taking a bonus laden cheap deal. He's a legit top 4 defenseman and expects to be paid like one.

If they are chasing a cup they better sign with another team because you this one isn’t getting it done.

I like the idea, but the Bruins must have a better roster before anyone signs a discount deal to go for a cup.

They would have to have Hall and Krejci locked up very quickly and then go shopping for these guys.

Suter is clearly not going to leave money on the table. Parise might and I can see him being a decent 3rd liner but prob a 1yr deal.

I think Yandle takes a discount to come home over Suter. Suter probably wants 50% of his current salary, which could still be ok for the Bruins, but he is in a downward trajectory so it would be short term.
