He was alright in Tampa. Could definitely thrive in a new system with more minutes.

Yea, can't wait until he Blooms to a Top 6 defensive forward who can score, maybe like palat

Last season was a little cramped for playing minutes, but I wish we had Volkov as an option for this coming season.

Around half a point per game as a bottom 6 guy in Anaheim last season. I think he has a bright future as a middle 6 player.

I don't know if exactly like Palat since he was able to immediately make an impact in the NHL, but Volkov is a true future middle 6 NHLer in my opinion.

Great to resign a player who won the cup in his only playoff game ever. Maybe he'll bring some puck luck with him for next season.
