Montour’s contract really isn’t good, the 7 years for Saad is definitely too much.

And the problem with giving long term is what we see with players like Andrew Ladd and Jeff Skinner. The contracts rarely end well

Eichel to the Avs in vacuum has Newhook not Byram. COL isn’t trading Byram under any circumstances.
