I feel Vegas could develop Patrick alot better than they did with glass maybe putting him in a top 9 position instead of just powerplays and 4th line minutes. And i feel like Nashville could put glass at maybe even top 6 minutes at some times, so basically a 6th ovr pick for a 2nd, so it seems like a fair trade.
Yeah, Vegas did a horrible job of developing glass so I can just hope they learned from those mistakes and pull a william karlsson or chandler stephenson.
fun fact the owner and gm know him from when he was with the winterhawks. The connection was there from the start which was why I said this would happen a month or two ago lul
predicted so many trades that happened the SUS BE REAL
McCann to Toronto happened
Patrick to Vegas happened
right now advantage Nashville as Glass is slightly more productive and healthier although if Patrick finds a away to stay healthy and meet his potential this trade becomes a slaughter for Vegas. Patrick's first 2 years with the Wheat Kings he was extra special although since nada.
I know that Glass has a pretty pathetic WAR or whatever but he doesn't need to be protected and he's been a bit more productive than Nolan has.
I think this trade needs to play out for a season or two before deciding who wins or not, but Nashville doesn't look like they would be coming out great if we consider the Ellis trade with it.
I remember when glass was projected to be the next mark scheifele. He could still reach that but I think Vegas rushed him which really hurt him. Hope the best for him.
Hope Patrick can leave the injury bug in philly.
Fair trade in my opinion, both will likely pan out as 2C’s.
