Parise is soft as Charmin. U just made the Pens way worse defensively.

Parise would need to be on that 2nd line. Keep ZAR/Blueger/Tanev line together.

And 3rd line I guess Gaudreau/Carter/Armia.

Let Seattle take Zucker..(hopefully) if they take ZAR. Then the Pens F—up.

We should have just let Kraken take McCann in that case and just moved on.

Jarry, Pettersson, Legare and two 1st round picks is Plenty for Gibson. Although I don’t think ANA wants or needs Pettersson back. They need to get rid of Fowler and Lindholm and start rebuilding.

Maybe Jarry, PO-Joseph, Legare and two 1st. For Gibson and Shattenkirk. That would make more sense in my opinion.

He’s on a line with armia and Carter who are both good defensively so doesn’t matter

I wouldnt trade 2 firsts at all. Jarry, POJ, Zucker, Lagere, 2nd, 2nd is plenty for Gibson imo.

Ya, like I said, You made us way worse defensively.

Take Gibson and Shattenkirk for Jarry, PO-Joseph, Legare and two1st or one 1st.

Hopefully Seattle takes Zucker.

Resign ZAR for 2 years at 1.75M. A 3.5M total contract.

Guentzel/Sid/Rust
Parise/Geno/Kappy
Gaudreau/Carter/Armia
ZAR/Blueger/Tanev

Dumoulin/Letang
Pettersson/Marino
Matheson/Shattenkirk

Gibson and DeSmith.

Much better team imo. We don’t need Rakell. He’s not good defensively and doenst hit. You already took on Parise.

Sure it does. Parise isn’t good enough defensively, big enough or physical enough to play on a legit NHL 3rd line.

we could remove the defensive problem by just putting rakell with sid and the top 6 would be

jake/sid/rakell
rust/geno/kappy
both lines can handle themselves in their own zone this way

Dude, Rust is RH shot and a RW. They arnt interchangeable positions. U know why RH shots play the right side?? U ever play hockey..?? They armt interchangeable positions like that my man.

Rust has LW eligibility on This site b/c he plays his off side, on the PP. The only time it’s an advantage for a player to play their off hand. Shooting the puck.

Right. U know how big he is. And he’s played that his whole life. Move him to RW then. That’s what u are doing.

You know How strong on the puck Ovi is?? When he’s carrying the Puck down the ice and how he has his stick in one hand and his off hand is fighting off the D-man. Ya, he’s the best ever at that. Most players need the puck along the boards so your body is a natural protector of the puck.

We need toughness and size. Or else we should’ve just kept McCann.

I would rather 6’2, 215 pound Poulin on the 3rd line LW. Or Hallander. And be Poulin or Hallander/Carter/Armia

It’s not happening either way. .5% chance we trade for Gibson. And like I said, most likely it would be Jarry, POJ, Legare, a 1st for Gibson and probably Shattenkirk back. That’s what makes sence.

yea i don't think this will happen either, we will end up signing like one free agent and call it an off season, but we do not need toughness and size, its not the early 2000s anymore game has changed, the reason we lost wasn't because we weren't tough enough it was bc jarry was horrible, look at tampa, no one in their top 6 is tough or big yet they went b2b

Dude, TB and Montreal were the two of the most physical teams in the NHL. Burke/Hextall want size and toughness. Not me. It’s literally all they say.
