Description

According to some cap projections, goodrow will fall between 1 and 3.5M over 4yrs, hence the contract being signed in the flat cap and wanting to get some security on a 6yr deal. Then there is the danault deal. He can play in the middle six as needed and be put out on the pk and in clutch times to protect the lead as well as chip in offensively. The money will definitely work its self out for the next season when fox and zib need to be resigned. All in all, I like the composition of the roster as it spreads talent, size, and defensive responsibilities out throughout the roster.

Goodrow won't sign that term, I think he will take a short term deal and try to up his Value to get more money next contract

I think it could go either way... some players seem to want certainty with the flat cap while others are rolling the dice. Either way I dont think his cap hit would be much higher than that either way. His value is the highest it has ever been as of right now.

I'm not sure his value will get any higher than it is right now.

I dont want Danault at that price to be our 3C.

Im also done with Chytil, they need to move on from this project. Hes done nothing to deserve being the 2C on this team. Id rather play Morgan Barron as the 2C at this point.
