Yotes counter offered with Robertson, a 1rst and Kerfoot for Garland and Kuemper

Better offers for Garland and don't see them trading Kuemper, probably more Raanta that leaves

Garland and Kuemper to the Leafs after the expansion draft makes a ton of sense. But I think the package has to start with Liljegren and a 1st, probably add Abramov and Kerfoot would be my guess. Arizona is gonna get a pretty good haul for Garland as he's been one of the most underrated scorers for a couple years.

Garland to the Leafs makes sense as much as I hate it but two overpaid players like Kerfoot and Engvall won't move the needle there. Probably Liljegren, Amirov, or Robertson and a 1st with your picks being so late.

I don't think it's a good offer either, but that deal makes Arizona laughs so they will counter attack

Probably more like Amirov, Kerfoot, Engvall and a 2nd it's a little bit more fair

Kerfoot was one of the only players that had a good playoff run for the Leafs he has value.

Robertson is off the table and Arizona doesn't have much leverage. They're trying to massively cut budget (reported internal budget is about $65M) and Kuemper makes $5.5M on a $4.5M cap hit and Garland is due for a huge raise. Kuemper has already told them he won't re-sign there next off-season so he's likely gone and they'll sign another goalie this off season. Arizona will be looking for NHL players that make less real dollars than their cap hit so I can see them wanting Kerfoot. As said in my last comment, an offer like this would be a fairly competitive offer:

Toronto Maple Leafs
Conor Garland
Darcy Kuemper

Arizona Coyotes
Timothy Liljegren
Alex Kerfoot
2022 Toronto 1st round pick
Mikhail Abramov
(Could also throw in an conditional pick if Arizona retains on Kuemper but with then trying to cut budget, I don't see that as likely)

His numbers were actually still quite bad in the playoffs... still a negative impact overall... not sure you can call 7 games a run either lol

Liljgren compared to Amirov (or Sandin, or Robertson) has 0 value. I think he got overhyped and i don't see this guy as a future top 4 d

for garland only it would make sens, but if you add kuemper, you'll need to put a bigger name thant tat

Top prospects will be off the table because every team knows about Arizona's financial situation and they're not gonna pay too prospects to help out Arizona. That already takes off that table Toronto's top 3 prospects in Sandin, Robertson, and Amirov. Their next 2 prospects in line which are still B rated prospects are Liljegren and Abramov. It's a more than fair offer what I listed.

No they're not? Leafs aren't in financial troubles. They're one of the richest teams in North America. Their cap situation isn't an issue - everyone on here doesn't seem to realize that they've always figured it out and there was like 10 teams in overage cap space after last season, and Toronto wasn't one of them. They have space, and if Kerfoot is moved it creates even more space. They have moveable assets and again, the offer I've listed is strong. I'd be shocked if there are many teams that beat it because most of them are recovering from the pandemic and don't have the financial flexibility to add a $5.5M goalie and a forward who's likely getting at least that. $11M isn't easy to add and pay, Leafs have that advantage.
