Description
Solid work by Armstrong today to get some desperately needed draft capital. The Florida trade is already rumored to be close to done and the rest are tied to rumors from Coyotes writer Craig Morgan. All things considered this would be a solid off-season where we can get to work restocking the prospect pool

Deal is rumored to be in the works and completed after the roster freeze. I’m guessing at the return perhaps a better prospect/pick comes to Arizona but Stralman can still eat some minutes on the backend

I would hope that Zito accepts that
I'd also think that Garland would be part of that deal, he is a great fit (obviously with many more assets added on our side)

Pretty sure Vegas would do that easily

That’s not what’s been reported at this point, but Garland does fit your guys timeline pretty well. I’m not so sure that the coyotes are going to trade Garland like everyone else on this website. What would you add to the deal to get him?

I saw the thing about stralman and capobianco, but I also saw the tweet about us being interested in garland
Has that changed? I haven't checked in a few hours

Sure there’s interest but nothing imminent. I didn’t see that Florida was on that list of suiters

I'd like to see Arizona aim a little higher on these returns, but they don't seem that far off realistic. He'll hopefully get a 1st and a pretty solid prospect from Garland, so that'll be nice. Stockpiling seconds should help refill the cupboards, but it's not going to get you higher end talent.

Earlier this month The Fourth Period reported Garland has been linked to the Oilers, Leafs, Bruins, Panthers & Kings. I imagine most of those teams are probably still interested if the asking price isn't too high aside from LA as they already aquired Arvidsson.

COL does that, but how about Compher instead of Francouz?

Coyotes need a goalie in that case. Maybe they go get a guy in FA instead. I wouldn’t mind Compher

I generally agree, but if there was ever a year where some higher end talent may slip through the cracks it would be this year with scouting being so weird due to COVID.
