The Price Exposure

Created by: Campabee

Description
Is it possible that Price requested a trade to Seattle and thus approached MB? IF that happened and I was MB my response would be, will you waive your NMC to be selected in the ED if we can make a deal with the Kracken for them to take you and select player X for us. This ACGM looks at this scenario and what kind of a deal would be in place.
Also affecting Price's decision is Weber's situation, this ACGM assumes Weber retires or goes on permanent LTIR.

Thats not a bad idea, however don't see Seattle trading their pick

Also why the fck we don't want galchy back

And danault walks gmhe said no to a 5x6

9 is too much for landeskog

8 years for KK is kinda risky

But the rest in fine

Why would Seattle do that? They can just take Price and keep their 1st.

I'd imagine it's part of a done deal for exposing him.... but they can't really trade for players they don't have now

Lot of work for MB... this offseason will be critical for the future of the Habs.

We stand to lose Weber, Price, or Drouin for nothing, and Danault might walk.

Let's just hope that our playoff performance has peaked the interest of some UFA

I said in description that it was 2nd OVA or another piece, I feel like if Price is gone Montreal would want a high pick and this years pick makes more sense for Seattle as opposed to next year's first which is a deeper draft. Otherwise it could be a high risk high reward type of player like Tarasenko.

Chucky was just for depth, he showed well in Toronto this season and he still lives in Montreal so he loves the city.

The Danault contract actually has him making more money than the 5 x 6 30 Mil contract he turned down. 4.5 x 8 = 36 Mil if the reports are true that they were 500-750k apart on a contract then this bridges the gap.

Landy wants 9-10 Mil otherwise he stays in Colorado

MB likes his high risk high reward players, if the sense is that KK will break out over the next 2 seasons. Locking him in long term at a low hit is worth it.

Losing Drouin for nothing is a bonus, addition by subtraction. Lol

Have faith, MB has done a really good job the last few years.

Yeah, he gets a lot of hate, but his batting average is pretty good so far.

I just hope there is a plan.

Habs exposed Danault as well and protected Armia instead

Danault wants to test the UFA waters.

I think he won't go anywhere unless he gets a 6.5M+ offer for long term.

At that price, it would be better to let him walk.

They actually can, all the trade has to stipulate is players to be named later. And seeing the exposed players list come out, if a deal was made with Seattle to take Price we could end up with like Dreidger, Foote, Tarasenko, Domi, Bean, Niedereiter, Quick, Duchesne, Johansen among others

My hope for a deal would be Dreidger + Foote + Tarasenko for Price and a pick
