Yeah lou didnt protect martin just to deal him for a bust. The picks would have to be going the other way. Not saying thats his value, but thats how lou values him.

You are gutting this teams future even more by trading first round picks for players that instead of trading assets for you could just sign free agents in their place.
Martin is a 4th liner with presence. Zboril is a 4th pair d with very little presence and you want the Islanders to sweeten the pot?
You have underpaid Hall, Krejci, Rask and Suter. Each one has already made their money but even on team friendly deals they will get more.
Moore is on IR not LTIR and will count against the cap.
