Description
Gourde is clearly the best option for Seattle. However I could also see Palat, Killorn, Colton or Foote being shipped to Seattle. Hoping that Colton can be the next Yanni Gourde

I think Seattle may be interested in Johnson with proper compensation due to him being a Washington native. Something like Gourde, Johnson, your 2022 first and third for “future considerations”

MTL will be looking for a LW after Tatar (and Drouin's)'s departure? If you want to trade Killorn, MTL would be a great fit.

I doubt that is something JBB would be willing to do. Gourde would not be used as compensation to move Johnson and if he was we shouldn’t have to add a 1st and 3rd. If it becomes clear that it will be very difficult to move Johnson anywhere, then I could see JBB making this reach in order to clear over 10 million in cap space.

Could definitely be a fit. We’d likely ask for a mid round pick and a B prospect for Killorn.

Agree that Seattle will choose Gourde. The value for getting rid of Johnson is about right, but I don't see Nashville being the team. They already have 2 overpriced, underperforming C's they want to get rid of (Duchene, Johansen), and I doubt they will add a 3rd to the list.

Colton is materially more skilled than Gourde .. he ultimately 2nd line guy after Killorn ..

Ryfors only just signed as a free agent, so he won't be included in a trade. Nor would any GM ask for him knowing that.

If Tampa doesn’t make the deal with Seattle to take Johnson, then Tampa should just keep him. If Seattle does take Gourde, then Tampa should just trade Palat or Killorn for a 2nd+ and not lose additional assets on a still useful player in Johnson. No way should Brisebois pay multiple high picks/ players to move Johnson, unless it directly allows Tampa to keep the players they want. Even then, a 1st+B prospect would be the max Brisebois should consider attaching to TJ. If Francis is asking for more, Tampa should just lose the one player and then get positive value on the other move.
